Supporting our community with Big Volunteer Week

Monday 2 July – another great day during the STC Big Volunteer Week. A group of us volunteers spent the day at the Harmonie Center, which is close to Tour and Taxis. The center is open 7 days a week during the day and offers a community of older folks a place to get a hot meal, play games, make items to sell, use an internet café and get help with things they can no longer do for themselves.  Many of the community are single and the Harmonie Center offers them a community support service and company. The STC team helped out in the kitchen and to replace a ceiling.
