Do you like to do manicures or are you willing to try it out? Volunteers are needed once a month on a Saturday for a manicure project at the Harmonie Center, a social restaurant where elderly people can enjoy a cheap meal and a variety of social activities. We arrive at 12.30 with our manicure kits and spend a couple of hours giving hand massages and painting nails. The manicures are always in high demand, so we need some extra volunteers to rotate on the team: you don’t have to be available every month. You could also be project leader on a rotating basis, which simply requires picking up the manicure kit and coordinating with the other volunteers to meet on time.
